Secretary of the Dharmodaya Sabha, Sagarman Bajracharya, stated in a press release on Monday that General Secretary of the Dharmodaya Sabha, Ratna Man Shakya, has also been elected the Vice President of the Environment Committee of the Association.
The main objective of this conference organized in different countries every year is to spread peace in the world and to create an environment conducive for a blissful life of the living beings by disseminating the Buddha’s message to the world.
Vice President Jyoti had read out the message of best wishes send by President Ram Baran Yadav in the conference.
The Dharmodaya Sabha is the Nepal regional centre of the Association since the inception of the World Buddhism Brotherhood Association. The Head of State of Nepal is the patron of the association.
The conference was held in the South Korean city from June 11 to 16.
