PM ANNOUNCES NEW PROGRAMME TO INTERACT WITH VILLAGE FOLK Kathmandu, 12 June: Prime Minister will begin a new monthly programme by visiting a village every month to interact with people at villages, his office said Tuesday. He will launch the programme visiting an unidentified CDA in the capital distict after dissolution of the constituent assembly (CA). PM Bhattarai gave up a four-programme ro visit his home constituency continued fir four years after CA elections. nnnn SLC RESULTS POSSIBLY BY THURSDAY Kathmandu, 12 June: SLC results will possibly be announced by Thursday or the end of this week, a senior official of the Controller of Examinations said Tuesday. The result first expected last week was delayed by protests pressing demands for inclusion in a proposed constitution which was not promulgated by the27 May deadline. Nnnn GOVERNMENT ATTORNEYS COMPLETE PRESENTING ARGUMENTS IN GOBINDA RAJ JOSHI CORRUPTION CASE Kathmandu, 12 June; Government attorneys Tuesday completed presenting their arguments at a special court in a multi-million rupee corruption charge filed by CIAA against NC leader and former minister Gobinda Raj Joshi. Attorneys for the defendant will present their arguments Wednesday. nnnn
