PM RESPONSIBLE FOR NEW CRISIS: DR. PRAKASH CHANDR LOHINI; Kathmandu, 15 June: Rashtriya Janashakti Party (RJP) Vice-chairman Ft. Prakash Chandra Lohini said Friday Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai is responsible for the new crisis created by announcement of constituent assembly (CA) without amending the interim constitution. “The main reason for this is the prime minister “Everybody is responsible for not promulgation of the constitution 27 May. Baburam Bhattarai is the prime minister of the biggest party. He was an educated person with a revolutionary background. “People had high expectations. His record is not very good in the last several months,. “The Prachanda Baburam team has protected and given leadership to corruption in the last six to seven months.” Dr.Lohini revealed the premier didn’t implement a last minute suggestion of Chairman Subash Nemwang only to announce elections through amendment in an interim constitution. “The government should have amended or suspended concerned articles of an interim constitution to hold elections. The announcement for election is against the constitution. “Chairman Nemwang told this to the prime minister and the PM knew an amendment was required. But the constituent assembly was not dissolved it was murdered. “The prime minister and his party should have taken proposal to the assembly that day [27 May].Intention is bad. Dictatorial tendencies were seen and the prime minister was in the front,” Dr. KOhini told Image Radio Friday morning. . The vice-chairman of Rashtriya Janashakti Party (RJP) said Nepal Army (NA) took a correct stand by issuing a statement Thursday saying it will implement and accept decisions and order only of a legitimate government. “Nepal Army (NA) is with us. So is the government. “He [Prachanda] shouldn’t have said this Army is not under anybody’s direction. NA is not is anybody’s procket. .President is its commander-inn-chief. :”Civilian supremacy has been accepted by issuing the statement. . This is the correct stand,” Dr.Lohini added. .nnnn JHAMAK GHIIMRE SICK Kathmandu 15 June: Jhamak Ghimere, 32, is sick in Dhankuta. She is suffering aftereffects of lifelong cerebral paralysis.
