PRACHANDA, VICE-PRESIDENT TALKS
Kathmandu, 6 June: Maoist Vice-chairman Prachand Wednesday discussed the
current political station with Vice-president Parmananda Jha.
Prachanda told the vice-president he’s efforting an outlet to the current political
impasse.
Jha urged understanding between political parties to end the deadlock.
UML CHAIRMAN KHANAL MOBILIZES CLASS ORGANIZATIONS
Kathmandu, 6 June: UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal Wednesday mobilized
party class organizations and asked them at Balkhu headquarters to participate
massively in Friday’s anti-government protests for ordering 22 November constituent assembly elections.
Khanal urged maximum mobilization in a show of force.
Government and opposition parties have built-up coalitions and have adopted hardened positions on the issue of dissolution.
Both side have decided to come out on the streets.
