SHARE MARKET GAINS NOMINALLY Kathmandu, 20 June: Share prices gained nominally on the fourth day of weekly trading Wednesday to close at 361.49 points. The market gained 2.02 points or.0.56 percent. Altogether 115,097shares were traded for Rs.40.042 million in 1156 transactions. Nnnn SHARAD CHANDRA SHAH DEAD Kathmandu, 20 June: Sharad Chandra Shah, former member-secretary of National Sports Council (NSC) the country’s supreme national sports governing body, died in a Singapore ho,spital while undergoing treatment for kidney and other ailments. Shah succeeded Kumar Khadga Shah at the NSC. During the panchayat, it’s said Kumar Khadga built infrastructure while Shah expanded porting bodies. Shah, elder son of son Army chief Surendra Bahadur Shah, was a fowerful personality deeply involved in panchatyat politics. He mobilized youth for the partyless regime in which kings enjoyed absolute powers.
