UML CHIEF ASKS PRESIDENT TO DISMISS PM BHATTARAI Kathmandu, 2 June: UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal Saturday urged President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav to act and take an initiative to dismiss the Baburam Bhattarai government and replace with a national consensus government. The suggestion was made at a meeting in Shital Niwas. President Yadav told he’s a protector of the constitution. He suggested the head of state act on recommendation of parties and the government only. Thapa warned the president he’s consulting only four parties. nnnn RPP-NEPAL TO HOLD RALLY IN CAITAL FOR CONSTITUTIONAL MONARCHY, HINDU STATE Kathmandu, 2 June: RPP-Nepal Chairman Kamal Thapa Saturday announced his party will hold a public meeting at the Open Air Theatre for constitutional monarchy and a Hindu state 9 June. The meeting is being held one day before an anti-government rally of 19 parties. nnnn .
