UPDATE NEPAL LOSES TO UZBEKISTAN
Kathmandu, 20 June; Nepal lost to Uzbekistan 4-2 in Group D Qualifiers of the AFC U-22.
Nepal played a 2-2 draw until the first half.
The visitors slammed two goals in the second half.
Nepal also lost against Yemen but registered a win against Bangaldesh.
Nepal plays one more match.

3 STUDENTS MISSING FOR ONE WEEK
IN RAJBIRAJ
Kathmandu, 20 June: Three students living in a hostel of Little Flower Secondary School located at Rajbiraj-9 have gone missing for the past one week, RSS reports
from Rajbiraj.
Bijay Bikram Sharma, 14, of Barsain-2, studying in class seven, Satish Chandra Sah, 13, of Arnaha-8, studying in class eight and Akash Sah, 15, of Sakarpura-9, studying in class eight are the missing boys, according to the school.
Principal of the school, Nanda Lal Acharya said that they escaped by jumping from the roof of the hostel with their belongings after stealing money of their friends at a time when other students were watching television.
The school and their relatives filed complaint at the District Police Office, Saptari, as they could not find the missing boys while searching them.
The boys escaped from the hostel after stealing Rs 4,280 of Bijay Mandal, Rs. 670 of Hem Narayan Pandit and Rs. 160 of Rupesh Mandal, said students.
Father of Bijay Bikram, Devraj Sharma said that they could not find out his son even when enquired with all the relatives.

MUSLIM CHILDREN PRAY FOR RAIN
Kathmandu, 20 June: Parsa district has received no rain so far even if the monsoon has already entered Nepal, RSS reports from Parsa.
Farmers here have been suffering as no rain has been received even after one week of the rainy month of Ashad.
Meanwhile, Muslim children here have taken out a rally praying with the god demanding water under the belief that the lack of rain was caused by the annoyance of god or Allah.
The children of Naya Tole in Birgunj-16 collectively demanded water with the Allah on Wednesday morning.
The rally also went round Murli Gaun from the mosque in Naya Tole. The children chanted ‘Oh Allah, give us the rain’.
They were walking naked and locals poured water over them. The Muslim community has the belief that there will be rain if water is poured over them, said one Muslim leader Rama Tullah Khan.
Farmers have not been able to grow even the seeds of paddy and the winter maize crop has also been dried up.
Parsa has 45,000 hectares of paddy plantation out of 56,000 hectares of land. Life has been hit hard with the increasing mercury.
