BRAHMINS MATCHING INDIGENOUS NATIONALITIES TO LAUNCH PARTY
Kathmandu, 8 July: Brahmins have been making preparations to form a
separate party at a time when indigenous nationalities are making preparations to form a party, RSS reports from Damak.
A meeting of the Central Work-Execution Committee of Brahmins Society Nepal held in Damak decided to bring this political agenda ahead.
A five-member Research Team has been formed by the Committee to establish the Brahmins' Society as a political power as district leaders called for forwarding the Brahmins' society as a political party.
According to source, Basudev Bhattarai (Jhapa) is coordinator of the Team whereas Pushparaj Timsina (Kaski), Devnath Upadhayay (Parsa), Ramananda Neupane (Jumla) and Madhav Pahari (Kaski) are the members.
Bhattarai said that the Brahmins' Society has started political exercise and has determined political course.
He said they have been compelled to come in a political form. Discussion about decisions of Work-Execution Committee would be held in a meeting of Working Committee to be held on July 28.
Bhattarai claimed that the organization would rise as a separate political force after final decision of the central meeting.
