BRUISED BODIES OF SCHOOL PRINCIPAL AND ACCOUNTANT
FOUND IN BHAKTAPUR
Kathmandu, 1 Aug.: Bodies of a principal of a school in Kamal Binayak in Bhaktapur
and a woman accountant were found Monday night near a bamboo grove
at Ithuli, Tathali in Bhaktapur.
Police suspect they were murdered.
Sujan Paudel, principal of Neologian Boarding School, and accountant
Bidhya Laxmi Shakhkarmi. Paudel (25) were discovered dead.
Both bodies were bruised.

EC WITHDRAWS ELECTION CODE OF CONDUCT
Kathmandu, 1 Aug. The Election Commission (EC) Tuesday withdrew an
election code of conduct especially for government to follow after formally announcing a
constituent assembly(CA) can’t be conducted 22 November.
Government has been informed of the EC decision
EC Acting Secretary Sharada Prasad Trital said one day after announcing
the national vote won’t be held on the 22 November the code was no
in effect.
The code restricts government appointments, promotions and transfers especially to
influence vote outcome and tampering.
