CIAA ASKS GOVT. TO CLARIFY REPORTS TIA MANAGEMENT BEING HANDED OVER TO INDIAN COMPANY Kathmandu, 5 July: CIAA Wednesday asked government for its plans to handover the management of TIA to an Indian company. Government plans have been leaked as Singha Durbar remains silent amid opposition from major parties. Protests have swelled amid plans to handover a strategic facility to an Indian company. ‘An army facility is located at TIA complex. The investigating agency said ‘its serious attention has been drawn’ to the handover plan and asked the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) Director General Tri Ratna Manandhar to furnish clarifications. nnnn
