CPN MAOIST GENERAL SECRRTARY CHAND DEMANDS ROUNDTABLE MEET Kathmandu, 25 July: Secretary of the CPN-Maoist, Netra Bikram Chand on Wednesday, has said that an all-party round table conference and interim unity government is suitable and the best alternative at present, RSS reports from Chitwan . At a press meet organised in Bharatpur today morning after the conclusion of a second full meeting of the National People's Volunteers Centre, Chand blamed that the government has further intensified the political crisis. He said that there would be unity with any communist party and not only with the UCPN-Maoist, if they involve themselves in revolution for people's democracy forwarded by the CPN-Maoist. Chand, also the In-charge of the Centre, said the meeting also demanded that the BIPPA agreement signed by the government with India be scrapped. Chand said the Centre has been working in the sector of service for the people, development works and security. nnnn
