FORMER KING SAYS 7 PARTIES SIGNED PAPER COMMITING THEMSELVES TO MONARCHY

Kathmandu, 8 July: Even as UML leader and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal said there was no agreement between former King Gyanendra and parties agitating parties to retain monarchy during the Janaandolan 2, the occupant of Narayanhiti Royal Palace Sunday evening said seven parties signed such a document.
Then King Gyanendra told News 24 Television News Channel 7partiessigned the document.
‘Many leaders are still are living to this day living. Papers were exchanged many times. There are not many points—three to four,” he revealed saying he or others could have the
document.
“Everything was given that were demanded for peace to prevail, including constitutional monarchy, the former king said.
‘I do not know what happened,” then king said with the involvement of the
eighth party’ [read Maoists].
Most of the top Maoist leadership was living in self-exile in India.
