FURTHER DETAILS OF KAMAL THAPA COMMENT Kathmandu, 12 July: Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal, Kamal Thapa, has said the 12-point understanding signed by then Maoist party and seven-party alliance was unholy. It was signed to fulfill strategic interests of the respective parties, he added, according to RSS from Pokhara.. At an interaction organised by the party here on Thursday, Chairman Thapa said the plot to push country to further crisis was on in the name of consensus. He pointed out the need of new power to free the country from crisis. The restoration of the constituent assembly was impossible, he said, warning that the country would face deeper crisis if an alternative to the election to the constituent assembly was sought. nnnn ASSAM LITERARY TEAM IN NEPAL Kathmandu, 12 July: A 13-member literary delegation led by the academic body of Assam, India, and Assam Sahitya Sabha arrived in Kathmandu for a three-day visit to Nepal, RSS reports. The team led by Robrung Torung, which came here for exchange of literary and cultural experience between the two countries will meet Nepal Academy officials and hold literary interactions. According to chairman of the Nepal Sahitya Parishad, Nawa Sapkota, the team will also visit various districts of Nepal. nnnn
