Kathmandu, 9 July: Krishna Prasad Shitaula, NC leader and trusted Girija
Prasad Koirala aide, denied Monday there was agreement between the then
king and seven parliamentary parties to show an agreement to retain monarchy.
Shitaula denied there was an agreement as claimed by then King
Gyanendra overnight in an interview with a television network. was
signed.
Shitaula worked as an emissary if ailing Koirala
in negotiation with Maoists self-exiled in India and Indian government.

EMPLOYEE UNION DEMANDS DISCUSSION IN CONTROVERSIAL TIA MANAGEMENT TO INDIAN COMPANY
Kathmandu, 9 July: Nepal Civil Aviation Authority Democratic Employees' Association has stressed the need to make adequate discussion in connection with the management of the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), RSS reports.
Issuing a press release on Sunday, Association Chairperson Dharmendra Pandey and General-Secretary Trilochan Poudel said that the management of international airport should be undertaken by specifying mode of investment, process to select management, institutional interests of the Authority and perks and benefits of existing employees.
A broad-based discussion with stakeholders should be held while taking decision regarding the management of the airport, the Association demanded.
The Association also demanded the removal of banners and flags put up by different organizations at the entrance of the Authority's office.
