LIGHTNING STRIKE KILLS TWO IN RAJBIRAJ Kathmandu, 16 July: Two people were killed after lightning struck them at Manraja in Rajbiraj on Sunday night, RSS reports from Rajbiraj. Those killed by lightning are Ram Ashish Pal and Bihari Pal of Telhat, Phulkahi VDC-9. They were struck by lightning while grazing sheep on the bank of the Khadag stream at Manraja and died on the spot, police said. Meanwhile, a boy has gone missing in the Kosi River while trying to collect drifting wood from the swollen river. He is Chandan Paikara, the son of Ramananda Paikara of local Bhardaha-1.
