MAOIST PLENUM DISRUPTED AMID CLASHES BETWEEN
PRACHAND, PM GROUPS
Kathmandu, 20 July: Clashes broke at Friday’s resumed plenary session
between groups loyal to Chairman Prachanda and
Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai.
Former Maoist military leader Janardhan Sharma, the chairman’s supporter, and former minister Prabhu Sah, loyal to the
government chief, exchanged fisticuffs.
A dispute broke out as a Bhojpura state committee
report was being presented.
The meeting has been disrupted for the second time in
two days.
The meeting was disrupted Thursday amid demands by
former fighters in cantonments to probe ‘financial irregularities’ and assets of leaders.

weakening nationality by not mentioning the trade and investment
agreement handover pf TIA management to an Indian company without
international tender.

BHAKTAPUR COMMUNIST LEADER DEMANDS ROLE TO PRESIDENT TO END CRISIS
Kathmandu, 20 July: Narayanman Bijukakchaya, chairman of Nepal Majdoor Kishan Party, a Bhaktapur splinter communist party, Friday said the president should be asked to play a role in ending the current constitutional and political crisis.
There’s no other solution, he argued.
There’s no alternative but to ask the president to play a role, he saad..
