MAOISTS. 22 OPPOSITION PARTIES CONTINUE BUDGET MEET Kathmandu, 11 July: A meeting of UCPN (Maoist) chaired by Chairman Prachanda and 22 opposition on a national budget 2069/70 continued for the second day Wednesday. Maoists at the party meeting and opposition reached an agreement overnight to bring only a partial budget. The meeting Wednesday will work out details of Tuesday’s agreement. Chairman Prachanda convened the meeting with opposition after the latter refused refused to join talks convened by Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai, who is Maoist vice-chairman. The opposition has called for Bhattarai’s resignation. Nnnn NEPALI AIDE OF YOGA GURU RAMDEV CHARGESHEETED BY INDIA’S CBI Kathmandu, 11 July: The CBI has filed a chargesheet in a local court against yoga guru Ramdev’s aide Balkrishna for allegedly using fake documents to get a passport Tuesday, PTI reports from Dehradun. The agency has alleged that Balkrishna submitted fake educational certificates and other documents to obtain a passport and accused him of violating provisions of the Passport Act by doing this. The agency has also made a judicial request to Nepal government asking it to ascertain Balkrishna ‘s nationality details but no response has come to far, CBI sources said here. Nnnn
