NAC REDUCES FARE BETWEEN NEPALAND FOLLOWING BREAKIN MONOPOLY Kathmandu, 9 July: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has reduced air fare between Kathmandu and Kuama Lumpur while increasing its flight frequency. The move comes after Malaysia’s budget airline broke NAC’s monopoly on the sector by starting direct flights between Kathmandu and Kuala Lumpur. One way fare was reduced by Rs.5,000 to Rs.16.500 for economy class while business class fare was reduced to Rs. 21,500. Six times a week flights were increased to seven. nnnn TWO HELD WITH 11KG HASH Kathmandu, 9 July: Police nabbed two persons along with 11-kg of illegal hashish in Hetauda municipality-1, Chaukitole along the Tribhuwan Highway on Sunday night. RSS reports from Hetauda.. The arrestees are Ram Singh Dhalan, 32, and Raj Kumar Dhalan, 30, of Kakanda VDC of Makawanpur, said the District Police Office, Makawanpur. The arrestees were moving ahead to Raksaul of India from Aghor, Namtar VDC for the export of hashish, it is learnt. nnnn
