NEPAL, BANGLADESH COMMERCE TALKS CONCLUDE UPDATE Kathmandu, 30 July:: A Bangladeshi delegation, which is here for Nepal-Bangladesh trade talks, called on Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai at the Prime Minister's office, Singha Durbar, RSS reports. An eight-member delegation led by Commerce Secretary of Bangladesh, Mohamed Ghulam Hussain, familiarised the Prime Minister about the progress of the talks. Talking to media persons after the meeting, Hussain said that he informed Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai about the agreement reached on giving entry to 146 agro products of Nepal in Bangladesh without customs tariff and importing medicines manufactured in Bangladesh to Nepal. He said that they familiarised the Prime Minister about numerous possibilities of co-work between Nepal and Bangladesh in the sector of hydropower and tourism, and added that they requested the Prime Minister to take necessary measures for the same. Ambassador of Nepal for Bangladesh Dr. Neem Chandra Bhaumik was also present in the meeting. nnnn
