NEPAL, BANGLADESH CONSULTATION MECHANISM BEING FORMED Kathmandu, 30 July: A three-member Nepali team led by Foreign Secretary Durga Prasad Bhattarai leaves for Dhaka Monday to launch a bilateral consultative mechanism Bhattarai will hold discussions with his Bangladeshi counterpart Mijarul Quayes. Nepal and Bangladesh have agreed to form a bilateral consultation mechanism, Nepal has such a mechanism with immediate neighbouring countries India and China. Nepal and Bangladesh are signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for regular consultations at foreign ministry level during Secretary Bhattarai’s visit.
