NOW TURN OF FORMER CHIEF JUSTICES; GOVT. VEHICLE FACILITIES Three former Chief Justices have returned the facilities provided to them by the government on Sunday. Former Chief Justices Min Bahadur Rayamajhi, Anupraj Sharma and Ram Prasad Shrestha returned the vehicle, fuel service, personal secretary and driver provided by the government to the Supreme Court today, according to the SC Joint-spokesperson Hemanta Rawal, RSS reports. Among the 16 former chief justices, 11 of them are still enjoying the government facilities. Former Chief Justice and Chairman of National Human Rights Commission, Kedarnath Upadhyay has not taken the facilities while Former Chief Justice Nain Bahadur Khatri is deprived of the facilities. nnnn INDIA INTERCEPTS NEPAL BOUND FERTILIZERS Kathmandu, 29 July: A large quantity of fertilizers supplied to Nepal by the government-authorized IPL Company of India has been reportedly confiscated at Jogbani-based Indian Customs Office, citing that the company's license had expired, RSS reports from Biratnagar . Around 33,000 sacks of DAP fertilizer remains stacked at border customs office for last four days. The fertilizer consignment was to be received by the Eastern Regional Depot of Agriculture Inputs Company. The Indian Customs office refused the supply of the fertilizers until the renewal of the license, said Dinesh Shrestha, Chief of the Depot. The fertilizers stored at the railway ground is likely to be damaged as it is stored in the open by just covering with plastic sheets while around 50 trucks laden with the fertilizers are parked at the railway station, said Shrestha. nnnn
