OPPOSITION BOYCOTTS PM BHATTARAI MEET, PRACHANDA CALLS ANOTHER MEET AT 4 PM UPDATE Kathmandu, 10 July: UCPN Maoist Chairman Prachanda has convened a a meeting with parties, including opposition at four in the afternoon after opposition, including NC and UML, refused to attend a meeting Tuesday morning called by Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai to discuss an annual budget, announced 22 November constituent assembly election and other issues. Prachanda is sitting in for PM Bhattarai, the party’s vice-chairman. Opposition is differenciating between meetings called by the party and government. nnnn.
