OPPOSITION MEETING PRESIDENT WEDNESDAY TO DISSUADE HIM FROM APPROVING FULL BUDGET OF CARETAKER GOVT. Kathmandu, 4 July: More than two dozen opposition parties, including NC and UML, are meeting President Dr. Ram Raran Yadav Wednesday to ask him not to give his approval to a national budget 2069/70 government plans to issue through an ordinance. The opposition will also ask the president to effort a consensus between them and government as both sides move on a collision course. Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun said Tuesday a ceremonial president has togive his approval to the budget that comes into force from mid-July. Opposition parties Tuesday formally decided to ask he president not to approve the budget of a caretaker government which says it can introduce a complete budget in an election year. Opposition fears the budget will be populist to win votes. Nnnn
