PARTIES HAVE’NT MET LOFTY PROMISES FORMER KING SAYS Kathmandu, 8 July: The king, who is now a commoner, said parties haven’t fulfilled lofty promises referring to the dissolution of constituent assembly (CA)/ parliament even in four years when a constitution wasn’t promulgated. ”I don’t feel they [parties] have met lofty promises that have been made. They gave not been fulfilled.” Talking in Nepali and interspersed with fluent English the only man to became king, even before his father and elder popular elder brother, Birendra said people and nation want an outlet. “’People and the nation want an outlet.
