PM, YASHWANT SINHA HOLD DISCUSSIONS
Kathmandu, 31 July: Visiting Indian leader of Bharatiya Janata Party
Yashwant Sinha held discussions with Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai Tuesday after overnight talks with Maoist Chairman Prachanda.
Sinha suggested in talks with Premier Bhattarai greater role of Maoists to break a
a prolonged constitutional and political deadlock.
The Indian leader, who arrived Monday, also held talks overnight with Madeshbadi parties.
The former foreign and finance minister is holding discussions with UMLChairman Jhalanath Khanal Tuesday.
President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav held a dinner reception for Sinha Monday.
Senior party invitees held talks with the visiting leader.
