PRACHANDA SON SUSPENDED FRON POWERFUL STATE AFFAIRS COMMITTEE Kathmandu, 9 July: Prakash Dahal, son of Maoist Chairman Prachanda, has been suspended from the party’s powerful state affair committee. The party politburo took the decision for the son’s ‘controversial’ role. Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai had extended Rs..20 million state coffer to from for Prakash Dahal’s team to cimb Everest. The dole was suspended after protests. The junior Dahal climbed the 8848 meters high world’s tallest peak this spring. nnnn
