STOCK PRICES GAIN MARGINALLY
Kathmandu, 3 July:: Stock prices marginally gained 1.33 points or 0.36 percent and closed at 387.25 points on the third day of weekly five-day trading Tuesday.
Altogether 131,206 shares were traded for Rs.42.028 million in 814 transactions.

PM, JANAJATI MEET DECIDES TO FORM A FRONT FOR ETHNIC PROVINCES
Kathmandu, 3 June: Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai held discussions with
Adbashi and Janajati leaders across party lines amid charges the groups are being funded by foreign donors.
The meeting decide to form a front for an ethnic province.
The conclave came one day after UCPN Moist and Madeshbadi leaders decided to form a front for a federal structure.
Tuesday’s meeting concluded there’s no alternative to a federal structure.
There’s no transparency of donors’ expenditure to NGO’s in Nepal as they resist government efforts to monitor and even curb activities of donors.
Some leading figures have charged donors are raising ethnic issues to divide Nepal.
NC and UML most recently have opposed single ethnic provinces.
