THREE BOMBS DEFUSED AT MAOIST CHITWAN OFFICE Kathmandu, 6 July:: Three bombs planted at the disputed Maoist party office in Bharatpur-6 in Chitwan was defused by an army bomb disposal unit Friday. Brigadier Jeetendra Mahat said the bombs were not hidden. Both factions of the Maoists that split last month claim the office. Police hve taken over the office complex. Nnnn PM ASSURES FULL CONSENSUS BUDGET Kathmandu, 6 July: Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai has said that the government would bring a full -fledged budget on the basis of consensus among the political parties. During his meeting with a delegation of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) at his office today, the Prime Minister said the economic sector could not take a momentum in the absence of a full budget. A complete budget is a must to provide relief to the people and take the economic sector on a right track, said the Prime Minister and urged the Chamber delegation to cooperate with the government in bringing the complete budget, said NCC President Suresh Kumar Basnet after the meeting. Welcoming the PM's views on the upcoming budget, the delegation urged him to give the nation a complete budget in time, according to Basnet. On the occasion, the NCC delegation requested the Prime Minister to give special attention towards the development of economic sector, with a focus on poverty alleviation and economic prosperity and to move ahead, taking all the parties into confidence. nnnn
