UPDATE 42 PILGRIMS DEAD Kathmandu, 15 July: Bodies of at least 42 pilgrims, mostly Indians, have been recovered so far Sunday when a bus fell into swollen Gandak, police said. The bus carrying at least 120 pilgrims was going toTribehidham from Phulampuri in India. The driver has gone missing amid speculation he was drunk. Nearly a dozen passengers have been injured. Bodies of 10 women and a child have been recovered. MORE NMA STRIKEWARNING Kathmandu, 15 July: Nepal Medical Association (NMA), in a statement, warned Sunday doctors and other hospital staff willgo on protests in their demands aren’t met. The Association warned government will be responsible or consequences of demands aren’t met. The warning came after a series of assaults on doctors and staff at hospitals, expeciallyin Chitwan, while carrying out their work. The association warned government not to pay compensation demands families of persons who have have died during reatment. nnnn
