UPDATE ELECTION COMMISSION BRIEFING FOR PM Kathmandu, 9 July: Election Commission officials Monday in the presence of Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai urged understanding between political parties to conuct the 22 November constituent assembly election. They again pointed difficulties in holding election by the deadline amid legal and other difficulties. The premier later said he was satisfied with election preparation.
