MUST BE TOPPLED THROUGH STREET POLITICS Kathmandu, 16 Aug.: Senior UML leader told reporters Thursday government of Baburam Bhattarai has to be toppled though street protests .after politics of national consensus was buried with with the launch Wednesday of a 21-party front by ruling parties. ‘There’sno alternative,” the senior UML leader said. He told this to reporters at his residence one day after ruling coalition partiers, including Maoists launched a 21-partyfront to continue until nationalelections and consolidate power. A Maoist constitution won’t be acceptable to others, former Prime Minister Nepal told reporters charging Maoists have been carrying out a violent campaign against NC and UML.. Other parties were being labeled ‘anti-federalist’ by Maoists, Nepal charged. nnnn
