CURBS ON DONOR DRIVEN PROGRAMMES IN SECURITY AGENCIES Kathmandu, 29 Aug.: Curbs have been placed on NGOs and INGO of donors to stop aggressive investments in security agencies, Sundhar Khanal writes in Kantipur. The move has been taken to push needs of the country instead of donors. The access of donor agencies had adverse impact on security agencies. Nepal Police is preparing a dossier. A one window framework is being developed to accept assistance. Donors, sometimes, without knowledge of domestic agencies, were investing in programmes for gender equality, human rights, justice and education. nnnn
