DEUBA SUPPORTERS SUBMIT MASS RESIGNATIONS Kathmandu, 15 Aug.: Sixteen main opposition NC central working c committee submitted their resignations to President Sushil Koirala Wednesday showing solidarity with senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba. Deuba said his supporters were appointed department chiefs and zonal coordinators without consulting him. Former Home Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka and Prakash Sharan Mahat, a former minister, are among those who resigned. Koirala formed 42 party departments, 12 new, without consulting Deuba who’s trying to establish himself as Koirala’s successor. Vice-chairman Ram Chandra Paudel challenged Deuba.
