LEADERS SAY GOVT. WORTHLESS Kathmandu, 1 Aug.: Leaders of different political parties have said Dr. Baburam Bhattarai should resign from his post immediately in order to pave the way for the formation of new government as it has turned worthless to the nation, RSS reports. Speaking in an interaction organised here on Wednesday, Chief of the Nepali Congress Publicity Department, Dr. Minendra Rijal, claimed that a unity government will be formed under the NC leadership in a few days by forging consensus among the political parties. Similarly, Chief of the Publicity Department of the CPN-UML, Pradeep Gyawali, said the incumbent government has been entrapped from all sides and claimed the nationality as described by the Unified CPN-Maoist has been used just as a ladder to reach to power. Minister for Peace and Reconstruction, Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, stressed the need of consensus among the political parties and said if they could not forge political consensus the government would declare the next date for the fresh Constituent Assembly elections. Dr. Prakash Chandra Lohani of the Rastriya Janashakti Party alleged that cases of corruption have gone up in the country during the time of the Dr. Bhattarai-led government nnnn
