NAM CALLS TWO-DAY CLOSURE OF HOSPITAL SERVICES SATURDAYA, SUNDAY Kathmandu, 17 Aug.: Nepal Medical Association (NMA) has called a two-day closure of health services, except emergency, at all the hospitals beginning Saturday demonstrating solidarity with doctors and staff at TUTK. The doctors are demanding appointment of independents senior persons without political affiliation to senior positions in the first teaching hospital built by Japanese. NAM has expressed solidarity with Prof. Dr. Govinda KC who is on a hunger strike pressing the demand. nnnn
