NATIONAL CONFERENCE OF CPN MAOIST VOLUNTEERS Kathmandu, 23 Aug.: CPN Maoist will conduct the first national gathering of the party´s Rastriya Swyamsewak Dal ir national volunteers from 11 October in the capital. The party decided this following a three-day meet of its politburo that concluded Thursday. A central committee meeting will begin 30 August. nnnn ALL DEOs TO MEET FRIDAY Kathmandu, 23 Aug.: A conference of district education officers of all the 75 districts is taking place in Bhaktapur from Friday, RSS reports. Apart from the 75 DEOs, five Regional Education Directors and Administrative Officers at the Education Offices are also attending the conference, said Director General at the Department Mahashram Sharma. The progress report of previous fiscal year and current year's budget and programme will be presented at the conference, according to the organisers. nnnn
