NC LEADER DEMANDS FRESH POLLS
Kathmandu, 7 Aug. Vice-President of the Nepali Congress Ram Chandra Paudel has stressed on forming a next government by displacing the incumbent government led by the UCPN
(Maoist), RSS reports from Pokhara.
At a press meet organized by the Nepal Press Union (NPU), Kaski, on Tuesday, Paudel said that now the country could not be run at the hand of the UCPN (Maoist)-led government which has no belief towards the republican constitution.
The Maoist-led government could not take the country to a conclusion, he added. He further said that there is no alternative for parties to going for elections for fresh people´s mandate by displacing the incumbent government.
Paudel said that a consensus could be forged among all political parties on decreasing the number of Constituent Assembly (CA) members.
