Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai Government has been ignoring opposition has been calling for a consensus
Bhattarai said Monday there are tree options to end a deadlock, including constituent assembly elections (CA) even as the government chief ordered CA vote 27 May unilaterally without consulting election commission which says a national
vote isn’t possible without amending an interim constitution an election by-laws.
PM Bhattarai was even attempting to hold declared elections by changes through ordinance by-passing amendments suggested by the commission.
After the automatic dissolution of CA with a vote call, Bhattarai is now
calling for CA restoration.
“The first option is to restore CA through political understanding and complete work all work on the constitution in the next one month through it.
If this is not accept a second option has to be found and the third alternative is war,” he told a gathering Monday.
