PADDY TRANSPLANTATION COVERS ONY 80 PERCET FARMLAND SO FAR THIS YEAR Kathmandu, 7 Aug: Paddy transplantation has covered only 80 percent farmland this year so far compared to last year, agriculture ministry said. Last year, transplantation covered 93 percent farmland in the terai while paddy has been transplanted only in 71 percent farms this year in the region. Last year, paddy had been transplanted by this time in 97 farms in the hills and 99 percent in the Himalayan region. nnnn
