POKHARA BANDH CALLED OFF Kathmandu, 30 Aug.: A two-day Pokhara bandh Friday/Saturday called by concerned groups demanding construction of an international airport to service the resort town was called off Thursday. Government asked for 15more days to consider the demand. Thursday was the sixth day of protest. Tourism Minister Post Bahadur Bogati has been assigned responsibility to talk with protestors. Another government minister earlier said the demands were justified.
