Kathmandu, 3 Aug.: Former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has returned the vehicle provided to him by the state, RSS reports.
The former Prime Minister handed over the Toyota Prado (Ba 6 Cha 1025) that he had been using to the Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday, according to the former Prime Minister's Personal Secretariat.
Leader Deuba announced not to accept any facilities that the state would provide in the capacity of a former Prime Minister, informed the Secretariat.
(Note: Surya Bahadur Thapa is the only premier not to return his expensive foreign limousine provided lifelong by government of Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai by issuing an ordinance even though government perks to former party leaders isn’t a priority. PM Bhattarai rides a Nepal assembled Mustang.)
