SPECIAL COMMITTEE TENURE EXTENDED BY THREE MONTHS
Kathmandu, 23 Aug.: The tenure of a special committee for integration and supervision of 3,000 plus former PLA fighters into Nepal Army (NA) has been
extended by three more months by the cabinet Thursday, according to Health Minister Rajendra Mahoto.
The committee is headed by the prime minister and has representatives of major parties as members.
The integration and completion of the peace process have been delayed.

UPDATE NO AGREEMENT ON SEVEN ORDINANCES
Kathmandu, 23 Aug.: There was no agreement in the cabinet Thursday on
seven ordinances, Minister Rajendra Mahoti said.
Further homework was needed on them, Mahoto added.
