TUTU SHUT DOWN Kathmandu, 15 Aug.: Doctors and students closed down all services, except emergency, protesting appointment of Dr. Dharma Kant Baskota at dean of medicine institute at TUTU. Protestors said Dr.Baskota was a junior doctor who appointed for political affiliation as striking Prof. Dr. Govinda KC demanded for the third time appointment of apolitical and senior doctor. Nnnn YOUTH LEADERS PRESSURE PARTY LEADERS Kathmandu, 15 Aug.: Party youth leaders held discussions with TMLP Chairman Mahanta Thakur urging parties to find an outlet to extended constitutional and political crisis ‘effectively’ throughnegotiations. The delegation began a campaign Tuesday by holding discussions with UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal. Pressure is being mounted on other parties as well. nnnn
