TWO COMMITTEES FROMED TO RECOMMEND MEASURES TO THE OFFICE OF THE PRIME MINISTER Kathmandu, 29 Aug.:A three-member committee headed by Public Procurement Office Secretary Dhan Bahadur Tamang was formed suggest ways to minimize road accidents. Another committee was formed under Commerce Secretary Lal Mani Joshi to recommend ways to contain market prices. The bodies were formed by The Prime Minister’s Office and will report by Augut end. Nnnn WRIT TO STOP IMMUNIZATION DRIVE Kathmandu, 29 Aug.: A lawyer Tuesday filed a writ at the Supreme Court (SC) Tuesday seeking an order to stop an immunization campaign Drive. The writ was filed following the deaths of four children in Doti following immunization against measles and DPT. Health ministry admitted they suffered toxic effects after being immunized ; the deaths could have been caused by human error as well, the health ministry said quoting a report of a health team that studied the deaths.
