UML’S BAMDEV GAUTAM LASHES OUT AT UCPN MAOIST Kathmandu, 24 Aug.: Vice-Chairman of the CPM-UML, Bamdev Gautam, has blamed that the UCPN-Maoist has been making attempts to establishing itself by creating disaster in the country out of the crisis, RSS reports from Chitwan.. At a news conference organized by the Chitwan branch of the Press Chautari Nepal in Bharatpur on Friday, Gautam said that consensus could not be forged as the UCPN-Maoist has a strategy of creating disaster by capturing the state power and added that there was no alternative of toppling the government through a step to be taken by the president and from the power of the people. Gautam has arrived in Chitwan to attend different programmes of the All Nepal Peasants Federation.
