UPDATE DHADING BUS ACCIDENT DEATH TOLL INCREASES TO 12
Kathmandu, 7Aug.: With the death of one more person, the death toll in
Tuesday morning’s Dhading bus accident has increased to 12, police said.
ANFA national player Ranjan Thapa of Pokhara was among the dead.
Other football players were injured.

NEPAL SEEKS MORE AUSTRALIAN ASSISTANCE
Kathmandu, 7 Aug.: Australian Parliamentary Secretary for Pacific Islands Affairs and Foreign Affairs Richard Marles called on Deputy Prime Minister Narayankaji Shrestha at Singha Durbar on Tuesday morning, RSS reports..
During the meeting the two talked on the issues of mutual cooperation and current political transition in the country.
Talking to RSS correspondent after the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha said the Australian government was committed to providing important support for the economic development of the country.
"We have appealed to Secretary Richard to increase the economic assistance being provided by the Australian government to Nepal," said Shrestha.
In response, Richard said the Government of Australia is ready to increase its support to Nepal.
When Australian representative Richard kept his concern in the peace and constitution writing processes, Shrestha said that the political parties have been holding talks to resolve current political transition and Nepali political parties themselves are able to seek a way out to the present political deadlock.
