UPDATE NABIN GHIMERE APPOINTED HOME SECRETARY Kathmandu, 8 Aug.: Following, resignations of five secretaries, government Wednesday night appointed, transferred and reinstated secretaries to various ministries. Nabin Ghimire was appointed to the powerful post of home secretary, Surya Silwal information and communications secretary, Nathu Chaudhary secretary Public Service Commission, , Dhamidhar Khatiwada and Madhav Regmi secretaries at the Office of the Prime Minister. Krishna Poudel was appointed forests and soil conservation secretary. Tilak Sharma was to the sensitive post of defence secretary and will workunder the direction of the prime minister. Durga Nidhi Sharma is secretary general administration m Gyan Darshan Udas secretary at Election Commission , Ganesh Raj Joshi agriculture secretary, Dhan Bahadur Tamang secretary of public procurement and monitoring office and Yagya Prasad Gautam as tourism secretary. The cabinet appointed five acting regional administrators. Rana Bahadur Shrestha has been sent to the eastern region, Ramesh Bista in the mid-region, Narayan Gopal Malegu in the western region, Phulgen Pradhan in mid-Westand Hari Dahal to the far-West. nnnn ________________________________________
