US ONE OF TOP FIVE DONORS Kathmandu, 22 Aug.: United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Nepal will earmark set aside half its aid for the health sector in the current fiscal year, an official announcement said Tuesday in a report for five years from 2013-2017. “The US will continue to help Nepal under US government policy,” said USAID mission director to Nepal David C Atteberry during a consultative meeting with government. “The US will help Nepal also according to the country’s priority, and national and sectoral strategy, but for the current fiscal year, the agency will invest half of its total aid in the health sector,” he added. nnnn MEDIA GOOGLE “The Maoist party had been targeting the President even before he refused to give his nod to the ordinances,” (NC President Sushil Koirala, The Himalayan Times 22 Aug.)
