21-PARTY ALLILANCE ASSEMBLED BY RULING COALITION
DECIDES TO HOLD FIVE RALLIES
Kathmandu, 22 Sept.: A meeting of the Federal Democratic Republican Alliance (FDRA) held today [Saturday] has decided to begin talks with different political parties and stakeholders to go for elections by forging national consensus.
The meeting held under the chair of UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal also decided to organize mass meetings in all five development regions in a bid to mobilize people as a part of preparations for elections.
FDRA's spokesperson Prem Bahadur Singh said that the meeting has decided to give top priority to talks and discussions among the parties to forge national consensus to end the present political uncertainty.
The coalition partners would organize mass meetings in Biratnagar, Janakpur, Pokhara, Nepalgunj and Kathmandu from October 3-12.
UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Dahal, UCPN (Maoist) Vice-President and Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai, Tarai Madhes Loktantrik Party's Chairman Mahantha Thakur, Madhesi Janadhikar Forum-Republican's Chairman Raj Kishor Yadav, Sadbhavana Party's Chairman Rajendra Mahato and other leaders of the FDRA were present at the meeting.
