CLARIFICATION TO BE SOUGHT FROM US EMBASSY FOR KEEPING GOVT. IN DARK ON MEEETINGS OF US DIPLOMAT WITH TIBETAN LEADERS Kathmandu, 13 Sept.: Clarification will be sought from US embassy for not informing the government when visiting US Assistant Secretary of State Robert O. Blake held meetings with representatives of the Tibetan community, Kantipur reports. ‘I’ve directed the concerned unit of the ministry to make clear the situation through at ambassador level,” Foreign Minister Narayan Kazi Shrestha said. Clarification will also be sought from the home ministry on the issue. The foreign ministry wasn’t briefed although the home ministry and investigation agency were aware of the meeting. nnnn
